What is a fix-it clinic (aka repair café)?: Residents may bring household items and clothing in need of minor repairs to and volunteers will offer guided assistance in bringing them back to life.

WANTED: Folks who like to tinker, disassemble/assemble, glue, solder, etc. in an effort to keep resources out of the landfill. We’re looking for repair professionals and enthusiasts who are willing to provide a few hours of fixing stuff in exchange for being part of a new local event that will benefit Gallatin County residents economically and environmentally. Sign up to volunteer here!

Benefits:
· Divert household items from the landfill and reducing demand for replacement items.
· Empower the community with new skills so we can repair our own belongings beyond organized clinics.
· Getting residents involved in the collective wellbeing of their community.
· Providing opportunities for residents to meet one another in a constructive social environment.
· Providing opportunities for organizations to gain exposure by offering volunteer “experts.”
